Dream Now, Travel Later: Must-Stay Paris Boutique Hotels
Parisian boutique hotels, what could not be dreamier?! As I write this we are now on day 403,023 of stay-at-home orders due to COVID-19! Okay, I exaggerate, but it does feel like it has been a while, even to me, who typically stays at home anyway!
Inspired by a Facebook group that I am a member of, I decided to get re-inspired by what inspires me most…beautiful and purposeful travel, and bonus points if France is involved in any way!
So, I decided to create a series entitled, Dream Now, Travel Later, that will be a round up of all of the swoon worthy locations, residences, scenes, restaurants, et cetera, that I would love to hit up once the opportunity permits. Now, fair warning, because I am a Francophile and I teach about the French wellness culture in my health and wellness practice, I am going to go ahead and put it out there that this initial series will probably be focused on France. (Sorry not sorry!) Okay, so be prepared to be carried away by beautiful images and if nothing else this will serve as a great starting point for researching your next or future excursion to France!
Okay, without further ado, here is the first edition of Dream Now, Travel Later: Paris Boutique Hotels. I am sharing 6 swoon worthy-must stay, boutique hotels in Paris, France!

So, if you are traveling you must have lodging, obviously. Now there is a spectrum of traveler. Some people don’t mind “roughing it” and going the hostel route, or camping, things like that. Now, I have to say, if you think that is what you will be getting here, well, my dear friend, you are definitely in the wrong place! I am all about luxury. Don’t get me wrong, I do love affordable luxury, but I don’t believe you will find me “roughing it” anytime soon! As I was saying, you have your budget travelers, mid range and then the extravagant. Lodging is very personal and it depends on your budget and your utilization of it while on your trip.
If I am going to be on vacation for an extended amount of time in one location I love opting for apartment rentals. There is a service that I have used multiple times when in the South of France that I love! I tend not to opt for the Airbnb situation when I am in a foriegn country, because of several factors, one being the language barrier for sure! I will put it on the list to do a post with my favorite rentals (if I were to rent one that way)! But for now, these are the boutique hotels or bed and breakfasts that have caught my eye and I plan to visit in this lifetime!

1. MONSIEUR GEORGE
This moody and masculine hotel reflects the perfect Parisian glamour offset through its über classic Hausmannian architecture. Set near the coveted, Champs- Élysées street in Paris, this hotel caught my eye because of the highly designed guest suites, but it catapulted itself on the list for two beautiful features. Its’ garden suite and the restaurants’ emerald-green titled flooring.

2. HOTEL BOWMANN
It will take you an hour to get from the airport to this urban oasis, but once there worth the travel as Hotel Bowmann is a short distance away from Paris’ luxe grands magasins! We are talking the Galaries Lafayette, Louis Vuitton and Chanel of course! Golds, marbles and other eye catching tactiles greet you at this beautiful 8th arrondissement hotel.

3. HOTEL LE A
Now, I have had the pleasure of staying at this chic and truly boutique hotel just a stone’s throw away from the Champs Élysées! I love the clean crisp color palette that engulfs you upon entering the lobby. What I love even more is that you are in the heart of the city but the hotel is tucked away on a quiet and unassuming street, so literally, the best of both worlds and in Paris! Can’t beat it!

4. JK PLACE- PARIS
I first became aware of the J.K. Place hotels when I was researching a trip many moons ago to Capri! Truly, this hotel, well, it is pure luxury at every turn. Chatting about it will not do it justice, you must experience the beauty with your own eyes! This hotel literally looks as if you have stepped into the house of furniture and fine arts collector. I think it isn’t to be missed!

5. HOTEL DES GRANDE BOULEVARDS
This hotel caught my eye because of this exact picture! The colors got me, as they are my sorority colors, but that design fact alone would never get me become a patron. I kept seeing this beauty pop up in my Instagram feed and upon researching was smitten! Chic decor and an accessible metro station has all the makings for the perfect Parisian home-based during a holiday adventure!

6. LE NARCISSE BLANC
Just say yes! Everything about this hotel is luxurious, chic and just on time. The entire hotel and spa is inspired by a timeless chic Parisian, Cléo de Mérode. And if you are lucky enough, or just ask, you may score a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Truly the Paris experience everyone dreams about!
